Legalisation

Legalisation involves the FDCO (fco.gov.uk) attaching their Certificate
(called an Apostille) to your document/s I have notarised,
confirming that I am a Notary Public.

The FDCO (Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office)
attach an Apostille to Certificates signed by UK Officials such
Registrars on Death/Birth/Marriage Certificates, or Acro Certificates.
In these instances, Notary involvment is not needed, you can send
your Certificate directly to the FCDO, fco.gov.uk

Legalisation also refers to the process of Embassies/Consulates
adding their Stamps to your document/s, so that your document/s
will be accepted abroad.
